PPSTA Roving Team
PPSTA has its newest service for the public school teachers of the country – The PPSTA Roving Team. The birth of the PPSTA Roving Team, which was conceptualized last June 2009, was based on the PPSTA motto “Bayani ka, gurong Pilipino. Ang PPSTA, kumakalinga sa iyo!” It is in fulfillment of PPSTA’s noble mission as the foremost teachers’ association in the country and financial security provider preferred by public school teachers and of providing excellent customer service to its teacher-members.
The PPSTA Roving Team is tasked to go to schools/events/gatherings of all teachers’ organizations/faculties to accept membership and issue loans instantly. One of the latest PPSTA Roving Team activities was in Tipas Elementary School held last August 15, 2009 with around 50 teachers in attendance. Other areas covered by the Team were the assembly of the Federation of Public School Teachers in Taguig City, meeting of the teachers
of the Legarda Elementary School. And the teams biggest and first activity was during the Assembly of the Bataan Public School Teachers and Employees Association held July 24, 2009 at the Balanga City, Bataan which was attended by around 4,000 teachers.
Many teachers are very thankful for this project it provides a way for them to transact business with PPSTA in a more convenient manner and enlightens them about the programs of PPSTA as well as the Associations both in their personal and professional lives The Team is also entertains and accepts
other transactions like retirement and death benefit applications.
